I know, this was meant to be a daily journal but I felt a bit ill. There has been a sudden change in weather and my allergies were all the rage starting Thursday evening. Friday, the 4th, my nose was so dry, just the right nostril, I had a bloody nose three times. First at work, like an hour before I was going to leave, then twice at home. The second and third happened quite close together so maybe the blood never really stopped and I just assumed it had. Either way, I. Was. Suffering. My partner had left to go meet some friends, this was planned beforehand and I did not want to force them to stay home. I was going to live, I just wasn't enjoying it at the moment. Thankfully, I have such a thoughtful partner and they came home with soup for me. The start of my recovery.

Pretty much figured out that I just have to let my nose drip and not blow out all the mucus. After the third (or long second) bloody nose, I realized I was making my nose dry. All the mucus was there to help keep it moist and here I was trying to get rid of it all. Saturday, since the weather was still chilly, we decided to get ramen. We tried out a new restaurant and stopped by QT (Quik Trip) real quick. Inside, one of the employees told me I looked like I had good vibes. They weren't wrong.

Sunday, I was starting to feel normal again...or at least better than I had felt on Friday. More resting, but I finally finished Unicorn Overlord. I've been playing it for at least a month and I even got the platinum trophy (PlayStation achievement system) for it. A very satisfying conclusion since I got the last trophy as I finished the final side quest after the final mission. Usually, you have to go around and clean up any random trophies that were missed along the way. With the way I played, I already got 'em all.

Also, I've been practicing my new One Piece deck. Going to try a slight different variant for the new Smoker leader, just slightly. Well, first I have to see if I own the card I want to use, but I will definitely go this week to at least one card shop to play. At least one.
