2025, April 8th - 2025, April 10th Okay so I take back what I said about the One Piece locals. I found a Buggy deck I am going to use instead. I actually have most of the cards and had to order a few. Plus a few cards for my Smoker deck I ended up not using, in case I do want to go back and use it. Buggy looked viable now with this new promotional card that came out. Big game changer to get more characters on the board. Finished a book called The Inugami Curse , part of the Detective Kindaichi Mysteries . Phenomenal book that I was happy was translated. Disappointed by the ordering of the translated stories, but at least the stories themselves don't seem reliant on each other. This book did mention some previous cases, only briefly. My partner had another book in the series so I plan to read that one next, The Village of Eight Graves . This will honestly be a book series I plan to get each book of and read. Yippie! I've gotten into MegaMan again...the Battle Network series.....

2025, April 4th - 2025, April 6th I know, this was meant to be a daily journal but I felt a bit ill. There has been a sudden change in weather and my allergies were all the rage starting Thursday evening. Friday, the 4th, my nose was so dry, just the right nostril, I had a bloody nose three times. First at work, like an hour before I was going to leave, then twice at home. The second and third happened quite close together so maybe the blood never really stopped and I just assumed it had. Either way, I. Was. Suffering. My partner had left to go meet some friends, this was planned beforehand and I did not want to force them to stay home. I was going to live, I just wasn't enjoying it at the moment. Thankfully, I have such a thoughtful partner and they came home with soup for me. The start of my recovery. 2025, April 3rd Allergy season has begun. Slowly through the day my nose was progressively getting worse. When I was driving back home from work, I sneezed at least 5 times in a row. I had to rest for a bit after getting home to decongestant and let my nose breathe. At night, as I was telling my partner how I adore them, Lika begins to cry. Literally, like from a scripted show, as soon as I finish my sentence Lika chimes in with a loud meow for attention. She just knows, woman intuition.

2025, April 2nd Busy day at work, but that's normal for a pay week. Talked to my parents on the phone afterwards. Even after I was parked at my apartment complex, I stayed in the car to keep talking until we found a natural conversation ending moment. I don't reach out to people often and socialize, so the least I can do is stay on the phone till the conversation is over. Played Battleship with my partner who defeated me. They found my small ship early on and just took the lead from there. Still had fun playing; hopefully this convinces them to want to play board games more often with me. Speaking of, we lost our deck of cards, so going to get a new pack of that.

2025, April 1st Costco trip day. Pantry was bleak, fridge was looking empty, but all that changed after today. Store is not as busy during the week, which was nice. We brought enough of our own bags to only need one cardboard box during checkout. Got Five Guys right after and some Menchies froyo. I get a little cheese burger, with lettuce, tomatoes, grilled onions, and grilled mushrooms. Froyo, I usually just get some chocolate and vanilla, and the basic cookies and cream, because I'm basic like that. Always got to add cheesecake bites and cookie dough pieces.

2025, March 31st I started updating the card sleeves for my One Piece cards. I have my Robin deck ready, but my RG Smoker deck is still missing some cards that I'm waiting to come in. Watching Cowboy Bebop and I came up with a funny gag. The episode is Jupiter Jazz (part 1) of course, as soon as the show is the planet, a saxophone starts to play. My funny gag, is what if on the planet, a saxophone is played non-stop as background noise. An amazing place for tourists, listening to smooth jazz the whole time they're their. But if you live on Jupiter Jazz...then this becomes a hellscape. Forced to listen to the saxophone, never having a quiet thought in their head every again. That would be funny.
